Shrimp Cocktail

1 quart tomato juice

1 12-ounce bottle shrimp cocktail sauce

2 cans 4 1/2 oz small shrimp, drained

2 cups finely diced celery

1/2 green pepper, finely diced

1 green onion, finely diced

1/4 cup sugar

2 Tbs lemon juice

1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce

1 Tbs Vinegar

1 1/2 tsp horseradish

1/4 tsp garlic salt

salt to taste

Mix all ingredients, refrigerate overnight

This is a German Christmas Eve favorite at Agnes’s house.  Aunt Agnes’s recipe.
